Prevention of Coronary Artery Disease includes adequate physical exercise, decreasing obesity, treating high blood-pressure, feeding and eating a healthy diet, decreasing cholesterol levels and stopping smoking, alcohol, substance-use and addiction.

Medications and exercises are equally balanced and effective. High-level of physical activity leads to reduction in the risk of coronary artery disease by approximately 25%.
