Pilocytic astrocytoma (and its variation pilomyxoid astrocytoma) is a brain tumor
that happens maximum commonly in children and teens (within the first 20 years of life). They generally get up inside the cerebellum, near the brainstem, within the hypothalamic region, or the optic chiasm, but they'll occur in any place in which astrocytes are present, such as the cerebral hemispheres and the spinal twine. These tumors are generally gradual developing and benign, similar to WHO malignancy grade 1.
